Dr. Peter D. Panagos, MD

Dr. Panagos is director of the Washington University Cerebrovascular and Stroke Center. His research focuses on acute neurological emergencies, systems of care, and initiatives to increase awareness and utilization of thrombolysis for AIS. He chaired the Rhode Island Stroke Task Force and served as a PI for StrokeNet, IMS III, EXTEND, and STOP IT. He served on the Executive Leadership Committee of the SPOTRIAS program and holds several national leadership positions including Chair of the ASA Stroke Council.
